There are, however, large and more open servers created by other users. The majority of Discord servers contain only a small group of people. While all channels can be seen by other members of the server, only those that are invited to private channels can access them. They are smaller groups dedicated to discussing a specific topic either through text or voice. Each server is broken down further into channels. V5 would also not be possible without the very generous contributors who have allowed us to use resources such as models, and animations- these include BillBaraka, the DCI Last Alliance Team and the Europa Barbarorum II Team.They will receive a link that allows them to join it, where they can choose to have a text or voice chat with other members of the server. The main difference between the open beta and full release is that the open beta does not feature Shattered Alliances. Although its an open beta, V5 is feature complete and has a tremendous amount of polish. Once we are pleased with its state, we will release a full release on ModDB. It will first be released as an open beta on our Discord, and we will periodically issue hotfixes to correct any bugs and perhaps even add new minor batches of content. However, unlike prior releases, we are taking a two-stage process for this release.
